Asset tracking

Where each machine and load is, the hours it worked, and the days to bill.

What you can track

Four kinds of asset, one screen.

Every machine, load and van, on one screen

Each machine reports where it is, the hours it worked and its days on hire, on mixed makes and older machines, with trackers our team fits and runs.

A machine moves after hours

Draw the yard once and set its working hours. When EX-12 leaves at 11:40 PM, an incident opens and the yard lead has a text a minute later, with the machine's path on the map while it is still moving. At 55 km/h, it is on a trailer.

Equipment left on a finished site

Welding machines, plate compactors and cut-off saws each carry a small Bluetooth tag, heard by the gateway at the site gate. When a project closes, anything still heard there is on the list, with the time it was last heard, ready for the next pickup run.

  • Nobody walks the site to find what stayed: the gate's gateway already heard it.
  • One pickup run goes to the right site, with the right list.
  • Equipment back in the yard is ready for the next job, not lost on the last one.

A Sense tag on each breaker, compactor or generator reports through the nearest Link, so the last place each was seen is on record: Generator G-4 was last heard in Yard 2 on Monday, not at Site 14.

One week on one project

One week on one project: days on site and hours worked.

Project 5, one week

  1. Mon 8:30 AM
    What's on site?

The machines reach the site and are assigned to Project 5. Their day clocks start.

  2. Mon–Thu
    Did they work?

Hours worked are logged from each machine, day by day.

  3. Wed 11:10 PM
    Who hears?

Generator DG-31 moves after hours. The site lead gets a WhatsApp and an SMS.

  4. Wed 11:24 PM
    Is it fine?

The site lead acknowledges from the link in the SMS: a planned move to Phase 2.

  5. Sat 9:00 AM
    Can you prove it?

Every machine's days on site and hours worked go to the projects head as a scheduled report.

Where it runs

Asset tracking, running on OneIoT today.

10,000+ devices, in production

Vanix Technologies

Equipment and field teams tracked on OneIoT, under Vanix's own brand. Its Digikhet service tracks tractors and farm machines.

100+ restoration customers, in production

A restoration-equipment brand

Its drying fleet tracked by the job, with usage billed to its customers under its own name.

In production

The sites and fleets that worry you most, first.

We connect a site's machines or a fleet, set the zones, the hours and who to tell, and run it for you. You get:

  • Where each machine is, and the hours it worked
  • Idle days and days on hire, for each machine
  • The record for the site or the fleet

What goes in

What goes in at your sites.

  • A tracker on each machine

It reads the machine's own engine hours and where it is, over the cellular network.

  • A tag on equipment with no engine

Welding machines, compactors and tools carry a Sense tag, heard by the nearest gateway or tracker.

  • A gateway at the yard and the site gate

Link hears every tag nearby and reports over its own SIM, with its own position.

  • Set up with you

Each site's zones, its working hours, and who hears first and next.

OneIoT AIOneIoT AI investigates each alarm as it arrives. Where it acts, it acts only through the control program on site, within that program's limits.See OneIoT AI
